Dr. Vicki Matthews: How can you get along with anyone, anytime, anyplace?

Dr. Vicki Matthews has pioneered using the Five Elements Model from Traditional Chinese medicine to help people live in greater harmony with themselves and others for over a decade. As a well-known Naturopathic Physician and Relationship Coach, she uses the Five Elements model to identify five specific personality styles and the automatic tendencies they have to interact in positive – and not-so-positive – ways with each other. This understanding, along with the unique, simple tools she shares help families and empowers professionals to easily, rapidly, and effectively improve their relationships so they can live their best lives. All of this information is in her new book, The Five Elements of Relationships: How to Get Along with Anyone, Anytime, Anyplace. She also helps support these transformations to better relationships with personalized (and group) coaching and event presentations.

In episode 312 of the Fraternity Foodie Podcast, we find out why she chose Augustana College, why she decided to become a relationship coach, what are the five elements of relationships, how we keep everyone happy over the holidays when the family comes to town, what food we should serve to keep everyone harmonious, how we can better understand our family, what students should do if their organization is in complete chaos right now, how you can change your mood based on your clothing, and what your professors really care about. Enjoy!

Mahesh is the author of the book “The One Minute Anxiety Solution: 57 Ways to Lower Your Anxiety, Take Back Your Life & Get Back to Your Pre-Anxiety Self”,

In episode 237 of the Fraternity Foodie Podcast, we find out why Columbia University was the right choice for Mahesh, what made him want to be a hypnotherapist, if anyone be hypnotized, if I will remember what happens to me under hypnosis, how hypnosis can affect the health of your body, if I would be cured immediately from the effects of trauma or if this a recurring thing that you do over and over for patients, what tools he uses most often as a hypnotherapist, how you can lower anxiety in 60 seconds, and how we can wake up calm and happy in the morning.
